高知県 足摺半島 唐人石 白皇山

土佐清水市街地から足摺半島へ向かう「椿の道」（旧足摺スカイライン）の中間点付近より右折すると約1kmで「唐人駄場（とうじんだば）」に到着します。さらに下ると「うすばえ桜公園」、「鵜の岬」などの松尾集落へと続きます。この足摺半島南岸一帯は花崗岩（かこうがん）で岩魂の露出や積重がみられる。
1977年に高知県が整備し、キャンプ等のアウトドア活動ができる自然豊かな公園になってい
ます。また、観光牧場などもあり、公園として親しまれる唐人駄場園地には、公園を囲むよう
に石が置かれています。近くには唐人石などの巨石群も一見の価値があります。

白皇山の巨石
足摺スカイライン途中に白皇山（佐田山）登山道の入り口があります。頂上まで50分、往復１時間半～２時間。昔はこの山で人が生活していたのでその痕跡や11月～12月頃には「ヤッコソウ」という珍しい寄生植物、巨木・巨石など見ることができます。
標高438ｍの頂上からの景色は足摺半島の北から東側を見下ろすかたちで、緑の山々と青い海とが眺め渡せます。

唐人駄場にはかつて大規模なストーンサークルが存在したが、1977年に巨石文明に理解の無い高知県の自然保護課の公園整備によって大部分の巨石は破壊され撤去され今は少しの石が当時のなごりをうかがわせるのみである。フランスのカルナックやイギリスのストーンヘンジに匹敵するような大規模な巨石群でありながら、佐賀の巨石パークのように高知県の観光課が積極的にPRしないのは、このような過去の蛮行による後ろめたさからなのだろう。
筆者は20年ほど前に唐人駄場を訪れたが、山側の唐人石巨石群はそのままであったので良かったと思う。
白皇山は巨石の場所は判り難いので、地元のガイドさんにお願いするのも良いだろう。

Huge stone of 白皇山

There is the entrance of the 白皇山 (Mt. Sada) mountain trail in the middle of 足摺 skyline. From one and a half hours to two hours round-trip to the top for 50 minutes. Because a person lived in old days in this mountain, it is about time when it and can consider the parasitic plant that it is unusual called "Mitrastemon Yamamotoi", a huge tree, a huge stone for trace and from November to December.
The green mountains and the blue sea watch it in the form overlooking the east side from the north of 足摺半島 and can hand the scenery from the top of 438m above sea level.

There was ever a large-scale circle of stone in 唐人駄場, but most huge stones are destroyed in huge stone civilization in 1977 by park maintenance of the conservation of nature section of Kochi that there is not of the understanding and are removed, and now few stones indicate a trace at the time. It will be out of a guilty conscience by such a past barbaric act that sightseeing section of Kochi does not publicize positively like a huge stone park of Saga while being large-scale huge stone group equal to Carnac of France and British Stonehenge.
The writer visited 唐人駄場 approximately 20 years ago, but thinks that I was enough because the mountain-side Chinese and Korean people stone huge stone group was the same.
Because 白皇山 is hard to know the place of the huge stone, it will be good to ask a local guide.
