倉敷市域北東の岡山市と境を接するあたりに広がる王墓山丘陵の北端、楯築神社の境内を中心とする弥生時代後期の墳丘墓です。
自然地形を利用し盛り土を行って整えられて墳丘の規模は、現在知られている弥生時代の墳丘墓としては最大級です。円丘部は径約50m、高さ5m。墳丘頂部には5個の巨石が立っており、墳丘斜面には円礫帯がめぐっています。
岡山大学考古学研究室による発掘調査の結果、朱の敷き詰められた棺とそれを納めた木製の槨の痕跡が発見され、鉄剣と大量のガラス小玉、土製の勾玉などもみつかりました。弥生時代から古墳時代にかけての社会の変化を研究するうえで、触れずにすますことのできない全国的にも重要な遺跡のひとつです。

楯築神社の御神体であるこの石は，その形や表面に彫られた文様から亀石とも呼ばれています。その大きさは縦横約90cm大です。（江戸時代には白頂馬龍神石とも呼ばれた）
石の表面には全面に特殊な帯状曲線入組文様（旋帯文）が飾られ，正面には人間の顔のような彫り込みがみられます。遺物の呪術的性格を物語るこの特異な文様は，弥生時代から古墳時代への移行期に首長の墓に供えられた特殊器台にみられるものと類似しています。
また境内にある楯築遺跡の発掘調査では，この石と酷似する小型の石製品が弥生土器等と一緒に出土しています。
弥生時代から古墳時代にかけての大きな時代の変化を知るうえで貴重な学術価値の高い資料です。

大阪府交野市私市 磐船神社
大阪府の大阪東北部、交野市を南北に流れる天の川の上流にあり、高さ12m、幅12mの船形の巨岩「天磐船（あめのいわふね）」をご神体とする神社。言い伝えによると、物部氏の祖神とも言われる饒速日命が高天原からこの地に降臨した時、用いていた舟が石となり、神格化したという。大阪城築城の際、加藤清正がこの巨岩を運び出そうとしたが叶わず、岩の上に「加藤肥後守清正」と刻み、断念したとも。御神体のそばにある巨岩には、天の川に面して大日如来、観音菩薩、地蔵菩薩、勢至菩薩の4体の仏像が彫られている。古来より神道家や修験道の行場として知られる同社では、巨岩の下に広がる岩窟内に入る「岩窟めぐり」も行なわれていて、一般の参拝者も体験することができる。

磐船神社の岩窟は古来より神道家や修験道の行場として知られ、多数の巨石が形作る岩窟は或るところは広い洞窟を成し、或るところは人一人がやっとくぐり抜けられるような狭い穴のようになっており、中には天野川が流れ込み急流となり岩を削り、特別な行法を知らない人でも岩窟巡りをするだけでも行になると言われる所です。まさに神業とも言えるこの岩窟は、現在一般の方でも拝観していただけるようになっていますが、昔のままの姿を保つため、必要最低限の安全措置しか講じておりません。そこで拝観者には次のような事を守っていただきます。
1、行衣（しろたすき）着用の事（社務所で貸します）
2、滑りやすい靴はわらぞうりに履き替えます（同上）
3、年齢制限があります（１０歳以上７５歳未満の方入窟可）
4、飲酒後の入窟はできません
5、夜間、雨天時、増水時は拝観できません
実際の拝観には拝観料（大人500円、子人300円）が必要。
また、雨天時、増水時等入窟出来ない日がある。実際に拝観をされたい方は当日事前にお問い合わせ下さることをお勧めする。
滑りにくい靴、汚れても良い動きやすい服装、軍手持参おすすめです。
2004年と2014年に転落死亡事故が起きており、一人での拝観や撮影は禁止となっている。

岩窟拝観につきまして、事故防止と万が一の場合に速やかに認知、救助が出来るように、お一人での拝観は男女を問わず、お断りさせて頂きます。
拝観希望の方はお二人以上で参拝されるようお願い致します。
又、どうしてもお一人での拝観がご希望の場合、日曜日・祝日の拝観希望者が多い日に来て頂くと、他のグループと一緒に拝観して頂くことができます．その場合ある程度待機時間が発生する場合がございます。
また、平日に希望される場合には事前にご連絡をいただき、日時を調整の上ご予約していただくと、神社の者が一緒に行くことも可能ですが、社務の都合によりご希望に添えない場合がありますので、ご了承ください。事前のご予約がない場合、お一人での拝観をお断りすることがございます。

岩窟拝観について（平成26年11月9日よりの再開について）
9月20日の事故発生以来、拝観を停止し安全性向上策を検討しておりましたが、この度以下の通り対策を取り決め、11月9日（日曜日）午前9時より拝観を再開させて頂く事になりました。
１，事故発生箇所を含む4カ所の橋を架け替えし、拡幅とともに滑りにくいように加工された材木を使用したものにします。（将来的には全ての橋を架け替えます。）
２，事故発生現場となった雨水の溜まった岩の窪みを砂利で埋め，安全性を向上させます。
３，道順を示す矢印を書き換え、認識性を高め，誤認によるルート逸脱を防止します。
４，より危険性を強調した説明を行い，危険性を強く印象づけるため，承諾書への拝観者（代表者）の署名をお願いします。
５，原則として一人での拝観を禁止します．（救済策として事前予約による案内を行います）
６，管理並びに丁寧な受付、説明へのより一層の気力向上のため、天候に関係なく拝観定休日を設けさせて頂きます。（宮司夫婦2人による運営のため、ご理解をお願い致します）
（再開日につきましては対策工事等の進捗状況により、変更になる場合がございます。雨天の場合拝観は中止となります）
他にもいろいろ注意書きがあり実際に拝観をされたい方は当日事前にお問い合わせ下さることをお勧めする。

堅破山（たつわれさん）は茨城県の多賀山地（阿武隈高地）にある標高658.3ｍの山である。角枯山、黒前山ともいう。
もとは角枯山（つのかれやま）と呼んだ。紀元前80年頃、蝦夷の征服に出征していた黒坂命（くろさかのみこと）がこの地で病気になって死んで以来、黒前山と呼ぶようになった（『常陸国風土記』、茨城郡の条）。江戸時代になって、八幡太郎源義家の故事にちなんだ岩に、西山公徳川光圀が「太刀割石（たちわれいし）」と名づけた。この名前からこの山を竪割山、竪破山と呼ぶようになった、とされている。
江戸期まで巨石・山岳信仰の山であった。山頂に黒坂命（くろさかのみこと）を祭神とする黒前（くろさき）神社がある。
1080年（寛治元年）、奥州遠征途上の八幡太郎源義家が黒前神社に戦勝祈願をした際、夢に現れた神に授けられた太刀を大岩に振り下ろすと、これが真っ二つに割れたという。
竪破山頂とその周囲には、この太刀割石（磐屋（いわくら））の他にも、不動石ほかの大きな奇石や滝があり、太刀割石、神楽石、甲石（堅破和光石）、舟石、胎内石、畳石（腰掛け畳石）、烏帽子石と、不動滝（奈々久良滝）、剣滝、龍馬滝をあわせて、七奇石三瀑と呼ぶ。
登山道沿いに見られる奇石のうち、不動石は土石流で運ばれてきた石、烏帽子石・手形石は崩落崖より転落・破砕した石、畳石は斜面がブロックで滑り落ちてきて・堆積した石。太刀割石、甲石、神楽石は小起伏面上にあり、花崗岩が風化され残った球状のコアストーンである。太刀割石はコアストーンがさらに木の根により節理面に沿って開口し、片方が転倒したもの。甲石は一部だけ破断しているもの･･･破断した断片が舟石。神楽石は5,6片の板状破片に開口しているもの。甲石→太刀割石→神楽石の順で開口の度が進んでいると見ることができる。 竪破山山頂には、黒前神社本殿の裏に大きな花崗岩塊（花崗岩の岩峰地形でトアとよばれる）が露出し、もともとの巨石信仰の岩座であったと思われる。胎内石は、竪破山の残丘北方稜線にある小岩峰（トア）の基部が南面の大崩壊の崩落崖にそって重力移動し、岩峰基部に歪みが集中して節理割れ目に沿って岩が抜け落ち浅い洞窟となったもの。

厳島（宮島）は、約6000年前に瀬戸内海ができたとき対岸と分離して島になりました。厳島の最高峰は弥山で535m、駒ヶ林506m、岩船岳466.6mです。
古代から霊威が感じられ島全体が信仰の対象でした。593年厳島神が御鎮座され、平安時代頃から山岳宗教の対象にもなって、弥山には三鬼大権現がお祀りされ、806年に弘法大師（空海）が弥山を開基し真言密教の修験道場となりました。
江戸時代になると、民衆も厳島詣で七浦巡りと弥山への信仰登山を盛んに行っていたようです。明治時代になり、初代総理大臣を務めた伊藤博文公は、弥山信仰に篤く、1906年に弥山への参詣道の改修に尽力し、記念碑が大聖院登山コ－ス入口にあります。 1996年12月嚴島神社が世界文化遺産に登録されたときには、その前面の海と背後の弥山原始林（国天然記念物）431.2haが含まれました。
2004年に登山家岩崎元郎氏が発表した「新・日本百名山」にも選ばれました。

宮島ロープウエー：宮島・弥山・日本三景・世界文化遺産／広島観光開発株式会社
宮島の獅子岩展望台まではロープウェイで行ける。そこからさらに20分程度かけ
弥山山頂まで登る。近年は外国からの観光客がとても多くロープウェイも大変混みあっている。また、休止している期間（冬季）もあるので確認要。
筆者は秋～春まで月に1回程度弥山に登っているが、宮島口からでる始発のフェリーで
弥山に登る。ロープウェイの運行時間になると山頂も観光客で大変混みあうからである。夏場は登山道にマムシがでるので要注意である。
また、低山であっても過去には大元ルート経由の登山道から外れ遭難者がでている（翌日無事保護）なので、道に迷いそうならガイドさんや登山者は多いので遠慮なく道を聞いて欲しい。看板の案内マップがアバウトなので弥山山頂からの下山ルートが判らないという方が多いので比較的わかりやすい観光協会の地図を載せた。
弥山山頂へは東の獅子岩方面から登り、西へ下山する。わからなければ獅子岩に戻りロープウェーで下山するほうが無難である。
弥山山頂の展望台の営業時間は10時から16時まで（トイレは24時間利用可能）
１階は売店でお菓子やマップが売られている。（営業時間内は管理人さん常駐）
初めての弥山に登る人は、紅葉谷コースから登り大聖院コースで下山するのが分かりやすい。登山・下山コースは谷間になっているので暗くなるのが早く冬場は夕方５時夏場でも夕方７時までには下山しよう。

I can go by a ropeway to a lion rock observation deck of Miyajima. From there more for around 20 minutes
I go up to the Mt. Misen mountaintop. In late years there are very many tourists from the foreign country, and the ropeway is crowded very much, too. In addition, (the winter season) is the confirmation pivot in there being it during a period stopping, too.

I climb Mt. Misen. This is because the mountaintop is crowded with tourists very much when it is the service time for ropeway. Because a mamushi appears in the mountain trail in the summertime, it is to watch out.
In addition, is that deviate from the mountain trail via the Omoto route in the past even if is a low mountain, and a victim appears (the next day safe protection); want to hear a way without reserve if seem to lose the way because there are many a guide and mountaineers. Because there was much signboard not to know the descent from a mountain route from the Mt. Misen mountaintop in a guidance map being rough, I picked up the map of the relatively plain tourist association.

I descend a mountain from the east lion rock area to the up, the west to the Mt. Misen mountaintop. One to return to a lion rock if I do not understand it, and to descend by a ropeway is passable.
The business hours of the observation deck at the Mt. Misen mountaintop from 10:00 to 16:00 (can use the restroom for 24 hours)
The first floor is a stand, and a cake and a map are sold. (in the business hours, resident a manager)
It is plain that the person climbing first Mt. Misen descends a mountain in House of uphill great sage course from the colored leaves valley course. It will descend a mountain early by 7:00 in the evening even in the summertime at 5:00 in the evening in winter to darken because mountain climbing, the descent from a mountain course becomes the valley.

土佐清水市街地から足摺半島へ向かう「椿の道」（旧足摺スカイライン）の中間点付近より右折すると約1kmで「唐人駄場（とうじんだば）」に到着します。さらに下ると「うすばえ桜公園」、「鵜の岬」などの松尾集落へと続きます。この足摺半島南岸一帯は花崗岩（かこうがん）で岩魂の露出や積重がみられる。
1977年に高知県が整備し、キャンプ等のアウトドア活動ができる自然豊かな公園になってい
ます。また、観光牧場などもあり、公園として親しまれる唐人駄場園地には、公園を囲むよう

白皇山の巨石
足摺スカイライン途中に白皇山（佐田山）登山道の入り口があります。頂上まで50分、往復１時間半～２時間。昔はこの山で人が生活していたのでその痕跡や11月～12月頃には「ヤッコソウ」という珍しい寄生植物、巨木・巨石など見ることができます。
標高438ｍの頂上からの景色は足摺半島の北から東側を見下ろすかたちで、緑の山々と青い海とが眺め渡せます。

唐人駄場にはかつて大規模なストーンサークルが存在したが、1977年に巨石文明に理解の無い高知県の自然保護課の公園整備によって大部分の巨石は破壊され撤去され今は少しの石が当時のなごりをうかがわせるのみである。フランスのカルナックやイギリスのストーンヘンジに匹敵するような大規模な巨石群でありながら、佐賀の巨石パークのように高知県の観光課が積極的にPRしないのは、このような過去の蛮行による後ろめたさからなのだろう。
筆者は20年ほど前に唐人駄場を訪れたが、山側の唐人石巨石群はそのままであったので良かったと思う。
白皇山は巨石の場所は判り難いので、地元のガイドさんにお願いするのも良いだろう。

There is the entrance of the 白皇山 (Mt. Sada) mountain trail in the middle of 足摺 skyline. From one and a half hours to two hours round-trip to the top for 50 minutes. Because a person lived in old days in this mountain, it is about time when it and can consider the parasitic plant that it is unusual called "Mitrastemon Yamamotoi", a huge tree, a huge stone for trace and from November to December.
The green mountains and the blue sea watch it in the form overlooking the east side from the north of 足摺半島 and can hand the scenery from the top of 438m above sea level.

There was ever a large-scale circle of stone in 唐人駄場, but most huge stones are destroyed in huge stone civilization in 1977 by park maintenance of the conservation of nature section of Kochi that there is not of the understanding and are removed, and now few stones indicate a trace at the time. The writer visited 唐人駄場 approximately 20 years ago, but thinks that I was enough because the mountain-side Chinese and Korean people stone huge stone group was the same.

1．金山巨石群 とは？
高精度な太陽カレンダー
「金山巨石群」は、太陽の周期を読みとるカレンダーとして時を刻み続けている巨石群。1998年からの考古天文学調査によって、巨石群は単に自然にできた形状ではなく、巧みに形成されたものであることが明らかになっています（ただしその方法はいまだ謎に包まれています）。そして金山巨石群の「こよみ」の精度は、現在最も正確な太陽暦といわれるグレゴリオ暦に近い周期での観測が可能であることが、2015年の調査で公表されました。少なくとも 2,500年は遡る暦の数値が巨石群に秘められています。2016年8月現在、と共に、現場検証が行われています。

1. With the Kanayama huge stone group?
Highly precise sun calendar
The huge stone group which continues ticking away time as the calendar that "the Kanayama huge stone group" reads a period of the sun. It becomes clear that the huge stone group was formed not the shape that there was merely naturally by an archaeology astronomy investigation from 1998 skillfully (but the method is still given a mystery). And, as for the precision of "the calendar" of the Kanayama huge stone group, it was announced in an investigation in 2015 now that the observation (128 years period) in the period when the Gregorian calendar to be said to be the most correct solar calendar was near was possible. The numerical value of the calendar dating back is hidden in the huge stone group for at least 2,500 years. As of August, 2016, an inspection of the scene is carried out with an American astrophysics doctor and German archeologists.

今まで巨石と太陽観測についての本はいくつか読んできたが、写真や図説が殆ど無く文章の説明ばかりで実際の巨石の調査にはあまり生かせなかった。
この観測ガイドは全ページにわたってカラーの写真が載っており、地元での磐座や組石の形と方位を照らし合わせながら、どのような方法で太陽を観測するための巨石なのかということが一目で分かり大変役に立ちました。山中での持ち歩き用に、リュックに入るＢ5サイズくらいの本もぜひ出版お願いします。

パーク内に点在する巨石は17基。山桜の会の定例登山では16基まで巡るAコースと、16基目の石からさらに1時間20分ほどの位置にある17基を目指すBコースがある。
登山道入口から足を踏み入れてすぐに、本格登山である。
自然のままの地形を生かした登山道は、足場がごつごつした石だったり、樹木の根が複雑に地表を覆っているところも多く、杖やストックが欠かせない。
Aコース1基目の巨石は、形が神様の頭に似ていることから名づけられたという「神頭石（じとうせき）」。
下田山の巨石群は地元で石神群と呼ばれ、神様として崇められている石が多いのも特徴。この山に来た人たちの交通安全の守護神として、
2基目に「道祖神石（この地の方言で「さやのかみいし」）」、
3基目に石神様が航海に使用したといわれる「御舟石（みふねいし）」、
6基目には天地万物をつくったという「造化大明神（ぞうかだいみょうじん）」がある。造化大明神は、同じ大和町にある「與止日女神社（よどひめじんじゃ）」で祀られている與止日女のご神体として存在。中は洞窟になっていてお参りでき、通り抜けることもできる。
巨石巡りコースは標高約200～400mのアップダウンのあるコースで、そのほとんどが豊かな緑に覆われているが、とても眺望のいい巨石もあるので必見。
8基目の「誕生石」は、この石からすべての動物が生まれたと伝わる神聖な石で、石の上から一気に視界が開ける。空中に浮いているかのような巨石は、先端へ進むのにおそるおそるでしたが、目に飛び込んできた山里の風景はとてものどか。平和を感じるいい眺め。
10基目の「烏帽子石（えぼしいし）」は巨石パークのシンボル的な石。平安時代の貴族がかぶった帽子に似ていることから名づけられ、8mほどの高さがある。
11基目の「御座石（ございし）」も特徴的な形の石。きれいな長方形をなし、悟りを開くための場所といわれるのも納得の神々しさがある。
14基目の「天の岩門（あまのいわと）」。宮崎県の高千穂町にある天岩戸に似ていることから名づけられ、見る場所によって印象ががらりと変わる。
Aコースのラスト16基目は、天の岩門から約10分の「蛙石（かえるいし）」。形がカエルに似ているというのが由来。

I set foot from the mountain trail entrance and am full-scale mountain climbing immediately.
A scaffold is a rugged stone, and, in the mountain trail where I made use of the topography with nature on in, a stick and stock are indispensable to a lot of places where the root of the tree covers the surface of the earth complicatedly.
